Highlands East is holding a Mineral Collection Open House to promote public mineral collecting sites. The open house is for everyone and will include a presentation by Recreational Geology Project Coordinator for Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization, Michael Bainbridge.

Highlands East is the first municipality in Ontario to secure public mineral collecting sites.
