Environment Canada is forecasting that this summer will be warmer-than-average.
The weather agency has released a long-term forecast for the summer months, which shows there is a chance temperatures in the area will be above-average this year. But Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says there’s no way of knowing how much warmer the season will be.
Kimbell says it’s hard to forecast a season so far ahead.
Kimbell also reminds you this is not a guarantee, but a first glance at what temperatures could be like this summer. He says we will just have to see how the season shapes up.
