Concerns from community members has caused the Minden Hills Cultural Centre to change their fencing plans. In June, council approved installing a six foot fence along Parkside Street.
The museum’s curator, Darren Levstek came back to council at the July 24 meeting to bring a changed request. The new fence will allow people to see the museum grounds, but it will clearly indicate a fee is required – a problem the museum has been facing for a number of years.
