The Haliburton Highlands OPP and the Haliburton Red Wolves teamed up for a torch relay this past weekend.
Saturday, police officers and athletes alike conducted a torch relay that started in Haliburton, made it’s way through Kinmont and ended in Minden. The purpose of the relay was to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympic team.
The 35 athletes that make up the Haliburton Red Wolves are coming off a silver medal win in bowling last month in P.E.I.
