An investigation is underway after Head Lake Park was the target of vandalism.
Haliburton Highlands OPP confirmed that they are looking into damaged playground equipment, as well as graffiti and several dents on a municipally owned trailer parked there.
The investigation up to this point revealed that the vandalism took place sometime between Saturday and yesterday. Dianna Dauphinee of the OPP confirmed that an unknown number of people spray painted and dented the utility trailer, damaged several pieces of playground equipment, and removed a number of solar lights from the pathway in the park.
