Increased Surveillance For Head Lake Park

Dysart Council has approved increased surveillance for Head Lake Park and parts of downtown.

This decision comes after Head Lake Park was vandalized earlier this month and the Lilly Ann Thrift Store and Halco Electronics were broken into.

It was reported that the cost of installing new camera equipment would be between $15,000 and $20,000 for half a dozen cameras.

The vandalism of the park took place sometime between the 14th and 17th. The addition of cameras would help police with future investigations.

Reportedly, images from the cameras will be accessible from the Dysart et al website.

Anyone with information about any of these incidents can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
