The Township of Algonquin Highlands is inviting anyone interested to attend a public information session on the McClintock Septage Lagoon expansion.
The purpose of the meeting is to give information on the completed environmental assessment. The EA was to determine if it was possible to do a capacity expansion at the site. Attendance to the information session is encouraged as the township says public input is an integral part of the process.
At the meeting, the town is looking to discuss options for on-site disposal and field questions from the public. The meeting itself is taking place August 25th at the Dorset Recreation Centre from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Township consultants will be available until September 30th for any comments or concerns regarding the project as a whole.
