The Kawartha Lakes OPP has charged a Minden Hills resident with drinking and driving.
Saturday, OPP officers responded to a call of a traffic complaint. Once the police found the car, they did an investigation and arrested and charged a woman.
The 57-year-old Minden Hills woman was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired. She is due in a Lindsay Courthouse September 6th.
OPP wants to remind you that if you drink, it is important to plan ahead for a safe way home whether that be a cab, rideshare program, or sleeping until the effects of alcohol leave your system. OPP says that failing to plan is planning to fail.
