Another stunt driving charge was laid in Haliburton County tonight.
Around 7:00 p.m. a Haliburton Highlands OPP officer clocked a black Ferrari California at 175 km/hr on Highway 35 at Red Umbrella Road – over twice the posted limit.
The 52 year-old Toronto resident pulled over and had his license suspended for seven days on the spot.
In a press release, OPP report the vehicle was transported to a local facility “at a much more reasonable speed on the back of a tow truck”.
The male will appear in Minden court in October.
