All over the county, municipal offices are altering their hours for the holiday.
If you have any business with the municipality, today and tomorrow is likely your last chance before Christmas.
Across the county, the municipal offices are reminding people that like any other business, their hours are different. In Minden Hills, the office will be open tomorrow from 8:30am to 4:30pm. After that, the municipal office is closed from Christmas Eve until January 2nd. According to the township, the landfills will be closed Christmas Day and the Arena will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.
In Highlands East, the municipal office is closing at 4:30pm tomorrow and they will be closed until January 2nd. The landfills will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
Algonquin Highlands’ municipal office is closing at noon on Christmas Eve and will be open again on January 2nd. The four landfills will be closed Christmas Day, and the Dorset Rec Centre will be closed as of noon on Christmas Eve and re-open January 2nd.
Dysart et al, just like the other municipalities will close their office Christmas Eve and re-open January 2nd.
