County residents are getting the chance to meet local people helping others dealing with Multiple Sclerosis.
Coming up later this month is a pair of events designed to let people meet the staff working for the local branch of the MS Society of Canada.
On May 24, at the Haliburton Highlands Secondary School, MS Society is hosting an information session with staff from the Haliburton and Peterborough County society. The event runs from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
According to the organizers, the event is designed to give insight into what the society does, and what they do for people living with MS and their families. Though if you are going to attend, you are asked to contact Debbie Hunter by calling 1-800-268-782 ext. 3343.
The other session is the next day in Norwood.
