HALIBURTON, ON – A pair of drivers are in hot water after getting caught by the O.P.P.
In the span of three days, the Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. laid charges on a driver in Dysart et al, and Highlands East.
Just before 8:00 am on June 21st, the police were doing a RIDE check on Eagle Lake Road in Dysart when the officers learned that the 58-year-old from Dysart for driving without a licence. The accused had their vehicle towed away and impounded for 45 days.
The second prohibited driver was on June 24 around 9:00 am, officers got complaints that someone was driving without a licence in Highlands East.
The car was found on Broadleaf Road. As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old from Highlands East was charged with driving without a licence. They also had their vehicle towed and impounded for 45 days.
Both drivers are scheduled to appear in court in Minden on July 7th.
