HALIBURTON, ON – Police have made an arrest in the murder of a Dysart et al man.
Dylan Robert Dahlke, 29, was in killed in the early hours of Saturday morning in Highlands East.
The Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested 58-year-old Robert Ferguson of Highlands East. He is charged with second-degree murder and will appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Kawartha Lakes tomorrow (Monday).
A post mortem is being performed on Dahlke at the Forensic Pathology Unit in Toronto tomorrow.
The investigation is ongoing under the direction of Detective Inspector Jim Gorry of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.
