With the Fire Department gearing up for fire safety reminders during the holidays, Fire Chief Miles Maughan is reporting November was their busiest month so far this year. Compared to October, which only had 16 calls, November ended with a total of 34. Maughan says 16 of those calls were medical to help paramedics on scene with CPR or car accidents. Maughan says their biggest call in November was the fire at the Haliburton Feed Company.
