Active COVID-19 case count on the rise in Haliburton

Four new cases of COVID-19 is being reported in Haliburton by the Health Unit.

It puts the active case count for the region at five.

There have been a total of 43 cases of the coronavirus in Haliburton with 39 of them marked as resolved by the Health Unit and no deaths.

The Health Unit has reported a total of 724 COVID-19 cases over the weekend between Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes (336), and Northumberland (345). In Kawartha Lakes, 292 cases have been resolved and 23 people have died. For Northumberland, the Health Unit says 295 cases have been resolved and six people have died.
