One new COVID-19 case added from Haliburton Thursday

One new case of COVID-19 has been reported from Haliburton County on Thursday. 

That’s the first and only case to be reported in the county since Monday pushing us to one active case.

The health unit added ten new cases from Kawartha Lakes and six from Northumberland. 

Kawartha Lakes now stands at 26 active cases and Northumberland at 24.

The Haliburton Kawartha and Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported no recoveries today. 

In addition, three more people tested positive for a variant of concern from Kawartha and one more from Northumberland. 

Another 14 high-risk contacts were identified by the health unit Thursday, with a current total of four from Haliburton, 46 from Kawartha Lakes and 75 from Northumberland.
