COVID-19: Haliburton down to six active cases Saturday

The local health unit added one new case of COVID-19 and four recoveries in Haliburton over the last three days.

The county now stands at six active cases with two more locals screening positive* for a variant of concern. 

*Even though the variants of concern have been counted in the data today it takes two weeks for the results to return from the lab and these cases have already been counted in previous daily case counts.

15 new cases were recorded by the health unit throughout the rest of our district since Thursday, 14 in Kawartha Lakes and one in Northumberland.   

The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit did 1,112 tests for COVID-19 districtwide in the last 72 hours.
