The Haliburton Highlands OPP “Fill a Cruiser” event is being deemed a big success.
Officials say cruisers were parked at various local grocery stores in Haliburton, Minden and Wilberforce on Dec. 3 and 780 bags of food were collected, along with $5,200.
The food and money were donated to local food banks.
The OPP is thanking the business owners, staff and the community for their generosity and wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
