Until Sunday, you can support local charities by buying a festive cookie at Tim Hortons. The first ever Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign lasts until Nov. 19.
Minden Hills’ Tim Hortons will raise funds for the Kinmount Food Bank, while the one in the Village of Haliburton will support the breakfast program at Stuart Baker Elementary School.
The initiative sees volunteers from local charities hand-decorate cookies, with 50 per cent of the proceeds from sold cookies going to the chosen charity and the other half supporting Tim Hortons Foundation camps.
