It’s a wrap for the local snowmobiling season.
Haliburton County Snowmobile Association (HCSA) officials have announced trails are now closed.
They add it was one of the most challenging winters in recent memory.
HCSA President Neil Vanderstoop thanked landowners for allowing snowmobiling on their properties as well as the volunteers.
Vanderstoop says the coming days will be extremely busy as the HCSA closes gates linking trails, collects lake markers, and prepares its grooming fleet for summer storage.
