Two charged for driving into opposing traffic in past week 

Provincial police have charged two people over the past week for driving into oncoming traffic. 

Haliburton Highlands OPP says a 35-year-old Peterborough woman was driving the wrong way towards a police cruiser on Bobcaygeon Road in Minden, shortly before 10:00 p.m. on March 1. 

The other incident happened shortly before 7:00 p.m. on March 5, where a 60-year-old St. Catharines man drove in the oncoming lane of County Road 21 in Dysart et al. 

Police say both drivers are being charged with impaired operation with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and are scheduled to appear in Minden court on April 3.
