Olympic figure skaters are coming to town this month. Stars on Ice is in its 25th year, and Minden cottager Kurt Browning is bringing the stars to rehearse at the SG Nesbitt Arena.
He made the request to council to extend the ice time, and they unanimously agreed. Skaters including Patrick Chan, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir will be among the 12 stars people will get a chance to meet. The rehearsals will take place over five days.
