It’s the 25th anniversary of Earth Day today where more than six million Canadians will be taking part. People in Haliburton County can get involved in this year’s theme to ‘Clean Your Commute’.

A recent website launched by the Rural Transportation Options Committee is making it easy for people to share rides around the County.  You can find those details on the Haliburton Rideshare website.

Today, Canada also launches an ‘Earth Day, Every Day’ campaign which is an online tool to help track your carbon progress. You can find it on the Earth Day 2015 website.
