A decision on whether or not Garry Handlen will get bail is expected today. His bail hearing took place over two days in May. The Crown opposed his request for release due to public safety.
Handlen was in Minden back in November, days before he travelled to British Columbia and was arrested and charged for two counts of first degree murder.
The decision on his bail will come down from the BC Supreme Court today.
