Our local students are showing their support for a right to a healthy environment. The Ecoschool Committee has collected over 200 signatures on the petition for the Blue Dot Movement.
It’s a nation-wide campaign to change the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms so it includes the right to a healthy environment.
Students will be presenting their petition to Environment Haliburton today.
