A local OPP Sergeant is taking part in Katie’s Run for epilepsy this year, now that he’s been seizure-free for 11 years.
Sergeant Robert Jamieson had his first seizure when he was on the job nineteen years ago. He’s taking part in the event to send the message to young people that they can still live a normal life, have a family and a successful career even if they’re epileptic.
The annual run raises money for epilepsy research. It’s happening on July 11. For more info, go to the Katie’s Run website.
