Our district health unit says parents who have an 18-month old baby should be booking a well-baby visit with their health care provider.
It’s an enhanced visit, compared to a regular checkup, and it’s funded through the Ontario government. The visit is a chance to identify potential problems and set up the child with the right community services and programs.
