A forum that connected environmental and economic development leaders in the county had a good outcome. The Haliburton Highlands Land Trust has published the report that outlines some ways businesses and organizations can work together on environmental programs and services that benefit the local economy.

About 40 people took part in the forum that happened on Earth Day and fourteen projects were identified.

The report states their goal to have people connect over the next few months and get some of these projects up and running.
