Reversing the cuts to Parks Canada for the Trent-Severn Waterway is on the agenda for the Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock Liberal federal candidate.
David Marquis says we need a federal government willing to be a full partner in the development and support of the TSW. He recently showed his support for the TSW Working Groups’ call on candidates to support full infrastructure funding.
Current MP in our riding, Barry Devolin was in town last month with the announcement that the feds are putting 285 million dollars into the TSW, with 17 million of that coming to Haliburton County.
