NewsPolice confirm Highway 118 incident was a shooting SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Monday, Aug. 17th, 2015OPP have confirmed an incident on Highway 118 in Dysart was a shooting.It happened around 6:00 last night, when police got a complaint about a firearm being discharged.According to police, one man was dead when they arrived on scene. Another man they believe is involved in the incident was located and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Police say both men appear to have suffered gun-shot wounds.OPP confirm they are not looking for any other suspects, and there’s no threat to public safety.The investigation is ongoing with the help of a detective inspector, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, and the Forensic Identification Services Unit.
