Haliburton Highlands OPP was able to stop an impaired driver before any damage was done. Yesterday, police stopped the 50 year old for speeding, and realized he had been drinking. The Minden man was arrested on the spot and taken back to the detachment. His license has also been suspended for 90 days. He’ll be in court for the two charges in November.
