The next time you visit the library, you’ll see a new collection dedicated to conservation. The Haliburton County Public Library has teamed up with the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust, and now each library has access to the Land Trust Collection. Acting Chair of the Land Trust, Dianne Mathes says it’s tied to their mandate to be connected to the community.
Mathes says they are working on more ways to engage the community and create partnerships. Anyone looking to make a donation, recommendation, or a request for the collection, can call the library or the Land Trust.
