This weekend people will be enjoying the colourful trees, which is why the Haliburton Highlands OPP is sending out a reminder.
Last October, 47-year-old David Palmer was murdered and police are still trying to identify the person or people who killed him.
Last year, Palmer’s car was located near Spruce Lake Trail in the Village of Haliburton.
If you’re around the trail this weekend, and find a wallet, a Samsung Flip Phone or a St. Louis Blues baseball hat contact the OPP immediately by calling 911.

Police say do not touch or move anything you find.
The Haliburton Highlands OPP is asking those who may have seen any suspicious activity or vehicles near the trail before or during the month of October 2015 to contact police.
