The flood outlook recently issued by the MNR has been updated to a flood watch. This means there’s a potential for flooding in the Black River and Burnt River watersheds. This includes the Drag and Irondale rivers.
With mild temperatures and rainfall, water flow is starting to increase, and levels are rising. People are reminded to stay away from fast-moving rivers and streams, and start to take precautions to protect your property from potential floods.
