The Speakers Series

The Speakers Series welcomes author, poet and editor, Ruth E. Walker. She will tell the story of Halls Island Artist Residency, a no charge, off-grid, water access location ideal for quiet reflection and immersion in the natural world. Ms. Walker will highlight various artists who’ve been there through the residency, and describe the impact on the artists and on our local community. The Speakers Series happens on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Haliburton Highlands Outdoor Association Fish Hatchery. Admission is $15/person payable at the door or on line at www.tellingourstories.company.site. As seating is limited, pre-registration is highly recommended.
