Minden Hills has some big budget items coming their way in the next term of council, and John Beattie says there are ways to skimp on a budget and spend where it’s necessary. Beattie is running in the election for Deputy-Reeve and says the big priorities like housing and the new fire hall need to be tackled head on. He’s also against a pool being built out of tax dollars, saying it’s something that should be paid for privately.
