Monday’s heavy police presence in Minden was due to a search for a wanted person, who has yet to be found.
That’s according to Haliburton Highlands OPP, which says officers attended a home on Gelert Road around 1:00 p.m. to arrest the person, who fled into a wooded area.
While several search units were dispatched, officials say the person was not found, but there is no threat to public safety.
