The OPP is searching for an armed suspect in the Wilno and Foymount area.
Police say schools in the area as well as the Pembroke Courthouse are on hold and secure. Students are not at risk.
Police are advising people to stay clear of Highway 512 near Dunnigan Road. They’re also asking people to stay inside and report any suspicious people or activity to police by calling 911.
It has been widely reported that one person was shot dead this morning.
