Councillors debate public art policy

Dysart’s first public art policy has been one year in the making, and it will have to wait a little longer to come to life.

Deputy-Reeve Andrea Roberts explains the policy saying it’s really in depth because the committee has thought of everything. Councillors are discussing all of the elements including the impact on insurance and its role in strengthening economic development initiatives.

Not all of the councillors agreed with the policy, so they’re taking a second look before deciding whether or not it will be passed.
