Abbey Retreat Centre Introduces A Warm Hug From the Highlands. This new community initiative provides a cozy, warm handmade quilt to local and seasonal residents of the Haliburton Highlands who are living with a cancer diagnosis. Every quilt is created by a loving community of volunteers. Everyone is invited to join the team of quilt makers? (no experience required!) November 12th 9:30-4 at the Abbey Retreat Centre refreshments and lunch provided. Come for the day or part of the day!
