The food bank in Haliburton is reporting an increase in users over the past year. Vice Chair of the 4Cs, Judy MacDuff says they’ve been getting new people ever since January, but the real change came in the summer.
Each year the food bank gives out food vouchers to people who register.
The deadline to register is this Saturday and you can contact the food bank.
MacDuff says they are also giving out toys for kids and will have a table of hats and mitts for people who need them.
