Highlands East to hold public meeting regarding short-term rental licensing bylaw

Residents in Highlands East will have a chance to provide input on the municipality’s short-term rental licensing program later this month.

A meeting has been scheduled for March 24 at 9:30 a.m. at the Lloyd Watson Centre in Wilberforce.

Officials say the purpose of the meeting is to receive input from visitors, residents and licensed short-term rental operators in Highlands East on the existing program including its requirements, compliance expectations and the overall intent of the bylaw.

Those who wish to provide written comment, should do so before 4 p.m. on March 23. Written comments can be submitted via email to str@highlandseast.ca.
