There’s a new place in Haliburton County to get geriatric assessments. Tomorrow, Haliburton Highlands Health Services will launch their new community house in Minden. The house will be for the Geriatric Assessment and Intervention Network team. They work with older people and their families to create care plans so seniors can stay in their homes longer. The grand opening is tomorrow at the location on 8 Winchester Street in Minden.
