There’s a special meeting for Dysart councillors today to talk about a new music festival venue.
A company called Earthproductions is proposing holding three music festivals a year at the Lakeside Golf Course. They’ve already put an offer in to buy the property, pending council’s approval.
The proposal still requires comment from the MTO, but so far it’s in compliance with the provincial policy and the municipality’s official plan.
Today’s meeting is at 1:30 this afternoon where council will pass a resolution stating whether or not they support the development.
