Haliburton Highlands a hub for Ontario Culture Days

Ontario Culture Days is set to take place later this month, and the Haliburton Highlands is one of 19 designated festival hubs across the province.

The three-week festival hosts a variety of events and programs across Ontario, inviting the public to participate and engage with local artists and show appreciation for arts and culture in their community.

Events are free or pay-what-you-may and are intended to engage and expose people to local creativity and talent.

According to officials, the Haliburton Culture Days Hub will bring together a collection of local events that celebrate creativity, community and cultural expression.

This year, the celebrations run from Sept. 18 to Oct. 4. The Hike Haliburton Festival, Colourfest, and a guided tour of the Haliburton Sculpture Forest are several of the events that will take place.
